Lesley Koegel, Psy. D.

My practice provides psychotherapy, counseling, and consultation for individuals, adolescents, adults, couples (who may or may not be parents), and families as they explore their relationships within home, school, and the wider environment by helping them understand and cope with behavioral, emotional, and cognitive concerns.

The mental health, behavior patterns, and learning styles of adults and children have enormous impact on families in the areas of social functioning, marital relationships, sibling relationships, school adjustment, social and community life. For example, emotional stability at home can predict academic success for a child just as powerfully as innate cognitive ability.

My sessions use a supportive, interactive, problem-solving approach and take the form of short-term, solution-focused therapy with individuals, couples, families, or small groups of parents.

Please feel free to call me if you have any questions.
